Streetwise arrives from the Plaze and heads in Lightspeed's direction. Lightspeed is seated on one of the verandas that line the buildings on this section of Vos. The Technobot is enjoying an ener drink and a meal...he's never had a 'dish' before he's always been use to rations. Streetwise takes a seat next to Lightspeed and glances around, "I don't like this." he mutters. Lightspeed waves a hand to the Protectobot as he arrives, "What don't you like?" Lightspeed frowns, "Is there trouble?" Streetwise shakes his head, "No, no trouble. Not a peep. I know it sounds like a cliche, but it's too quiet." Lightspeed nods in agreement with the Protectobot, "I understand..." The Technobot begins to scan the crowds with his baby blue optics, "The Decepticons are just -waiting-...I don't like it either." Streetwise opens his mouth as though about to say something, then closes it again. He looks around and takes in the scenery for a moment before saying, "Look at us. We're sat here in this beautiful place and we can't do anything except worry where the next attack is coming from." He shakes his head and snorts derisively. Lightspeed shakes his head, understanding the Protectobots feelings, "We can't help it...the Decepticons could do some -major- damage if they damper with time. The power they hold is just too great this time." Streetwise smiles grimly, "Oh, I know that. I'm just annoyed that we HAVE to think like this. I'm annoyed that it's what I was created for." Lightspeed finishes off his ener drink and sets the cup down, "I know, but it can't be helped. You and I were created in a time of war...we're out of place here." Streetwise tries to shake off the unpleasantness of the conversation and switches topic, "How's the food here?" Lightspeed looks down at his plate, a look of amazement filling his optics, "It's great! I've never tasted anything like it...its funny what Cybertroians come up with when their not worrying about war." Streetwise says, "Well, look at the humans. Any time they're not at war, they're eating or sleeping, or whatever the heck that other thing is. When they've got time on their hands they practise something until they're good at it."" Lightspeed nods, "And the humans are learning...their conflicts have been limited over the past decade we have been here. It's a shame we had to bring our war to Earth." Streetwise lets out a little laugh, "Look at us; we're doing it again. Why can't we just talk about the weather like the humans do? I never really understood why they did that, but now I'm starting to see the appeal." Lightspeed chuckles as he attempts to hide his dispair, "Tell me about it...I can't get it out of my mind..." The Technobot's voice drops to a whisper, "...we must allow everyone to die..." Streetwise allows the distress to show on his face, "I know... it seems so... I mean I'm a PROTECTobot. I protect, it's what I do, but here I..." he shakes his head, "It just doesn't make sense." Lightspeed shuts his optics as he forces himself to speak, "It makes sense...I just don't like it. The reason is that we can't allow time to change...it's just to dangerous." Streetwise says, "I know. I guess I just don't want it to make sense. If it makes sense it's that much worse." Streetwise remains seated on the veranda and motions Skydive over. Skydive notes that he has to go on duty in a few cycles, and then heads over to Streetwise, saying, "What's up?" and he moves his rifle a bit, trying to get it to rest more comfortable. Skydive shrugs and he explains, "Well, apart from the long hours of boredom, it's fine. I've gotten myself a room at the Liberation Arch Hotel big enough to fit a couple of bots other than myself." he looks at his rifle a bit and says, "And this has become very useful. Kept me from dieing on many occasions." reflecting bitterly. Streetwise looks surprised, "I thought this place was pretty peaceful; what with the Guardians being able to stomp pretty much anything that could bother the city." Skydive nods, and continues, "I've not had to fire a single shot with this rifle, but it's mere threat keeps Daredevil from tearing me to pieces." Streetwise says, "Oh? What did you do?"" Skydive begins making sounds like, "Uh... uhm..." and ponders ignoring the question for a bit, and then ultimately just spits it out, "She hugged me." Streetwise has a look halfway between amusement and horror, "She WHAT!?!?"
